The Golden State Warriors will consider giving up their 2020 NBA Draft pick if it means a chance at acquiring one of these three players.

Sources around the league seem confident in one thing: The Golden State Warriors‘ upcoming NBA Draft pick is up for grabs. The question is – what would it take to pry the No. 2 overall pick away from the Dubs?

The franchise doesn’t necessarily need a young star but they have made it clear they intend to use the pick for themselves and build for the future if they don’t find a deal that grabs their attention. Many have pointed towards potential trades for Giannis Antetokounmpo or Devin Booker as prime options.

However, those deals are a bit of a far cry. The Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns have no reason to rush in trading away their franchise stars while they are still on contract. Instead, Tim Bontemps of ESPN has pointed out three players that are on the Warriors radar.

According to Bontemps, league officials are unanimous in thinking the Warriors will trade the pick. However, depending on the player, the Warriors may have to wait until the deadline to complete the said deal. Nonetheless, these are the three targets that Bontemps thinks the Dubs would cough up their pick in order to acquire.
