Three-point shooting

Jrue Holiday is no Joe Harris. He likely will never shoot over 40% from downtown in a season. However, throughout his career, he has neared that mark, shooting 39% from deep earlier on in his career.

More recently, Holiday averaged 35.3% from downtown, making a career-high 2.0 threes per game.

This season was the first that Holiday, in his prime, was truly captaining the franchise. Holiday and Brandon Ingram were the two offensive leaders for the Pelicans. Holiday averaged 191. points per game.

With a 34.4% three-point attempt rate, the highest of his career, Holiday is getting more comfortable consistently shooting outside. Holiday ranked within the top-70 players in three per game this past season.

For the Warriors, volume shooting will not be an issue at all.

They helped usher in the small-ball era as both Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson hoisted well over half a dozen threes per game each. Three-point shooting is in their DNA, and Holiday is one of the better guards from deep.
