1. Bucks have failed him
The Milwaukee Bucks are trying their best to build a supporting cast around Giannis Antetokounmpo but they may have locked themselves into a few bad contracts that will seal their fate.
Khris Middleton is an All-Star caliber player but not one that deserves $140 million dollars over the next four years. But, it’s not like the Bucks would simply let him walk as there aren’t many star players signing up to play in Milwaukee. This predicament landed the Bucks a contract that will limit their cap space moving forward.
Then, there are the veteran players who currently make up the Bucks roster. Wesley Matthews, George Hill, Kyle Korver, Brook Lopez and Eric Bledsoe have proven time and time again that they aren’t capable of bringing a team to the promised land.
This could end up being the driving force that takes Giannis out of Milwaukee. Repeated losses in the playoffs will sting and eventually, he will want a change of scenery. When this happens, the Warriors will be waiting with open arms.
