3. Evan Turner

Can Evan Turner still help an NBA team? At 31 years of age, the answer to that question is unclear. But, maybe the Warriors will be the franchise to find out for themselves.

Turner is an adept ball-handler for his size and can be a combo-forward on the wing. He has spent most of his career as a decent role player, only relied on for a few buckets here and there. His best asset is his height, which he uses to rebound and create plays for teammates.

He appeared in only 19 games for the Atlanta Hawks last season but his limited minutes could be due to the team’s needs focusing more on player development for their young core. Turner might still be able to produce at a quality rate as a bench player for a title contender.

Let’s be real, Turner isn’t the first option on the Warriors wish list. In fact, he might even be their last option. But, if finding a suitable fit with the MLE proves to be more difficult than we thought, a veteran wing that can create players is an okay backup plan.
