1. Emmanuel Mudiay

The Golden State Warriors should be looking to sign a backup point guard. This will be pivotal to allowing Stephen Curry the rest he needs throughout the season to deliver an MVP type performance in the playoffs.

Emmanuel Mudiay could be the best fit here. He is a tall guard with a similar build to that of Shaun Livingston. He can handle the ball and be a floor general for the second unit. Though he is only 23 years old, he has more experience than any other backup guard on the Dubs’ roster.

Mudiay averaged 7.3 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 15.7 minutes of playing time this season. He was a reliable member of the Utah Jazz’s defense and could be useful to the Warriors title hopes.

The Warriors would love to have Mudiay on their bench. He has shown poise and control throughout his career and is built for this role. While he isn’t exactly a great shooter, only connecting on 32.5 percent of his career 3-point attempts, Mudiay should be able to do just enough to warrant a spot on the team.
