3. Devin Vassell

The first prospect we will look at is Devin Vassell. A long-armed, defensive-oriented player with a pure stroke from the 3-point line, Vassell is an ideal fit for the team.

Vassell used every inch of his 7-foot wingspan to clog passing lanes and disrupt plays last season. He was an above-average off-ball defender and a reliable force on the perimeter. Most impressively, he showed the ability to explode to the rim and come up with blocks on the weak side.

On offense, Vassell is a great catch-and-shoot threat. He drilled 70 total 3-pointers on above 40 percent shooting in his two years at Florida State. He would be an easy addition to the Warriors.

With two years of college ball under his belt and a developed offensive game, Vassell wouldn’t need much of a transition period to be productive for the Dubs. This makes him an obvious target if they trade back in the lottery and someone who can make an instant impact.
