Jordan Poole

The one bright spot for the 15-win Golden State Warriors was 2019 first-round pick, Jordan Poole. Despite finishing dead last in the Western Conference, the team was able to get Poole enough minutes to where his comfort level noticeable rose significantly.

There was a stretch of play where Poole went 4-for-38 from the field. Over the first 24 games of his career, Poole was averaging under 28% from the field. His last 13 games prior to the suspension he put double figures in 12 of them and averaged over 47% from the field.

At first, it didn’t look like he’d have any trade value this offseason, but in February and March, his potential was obvious. Other teams may pay a high price for Poole as he’s proven to be an efficient playmaker for at least a stretch of the season.

Poole is a player that shouldn’t hold up a deal either. The Warriors are very keen on who they draft, but Poole won’t be the one standing in their way if a trade for a player like Giannis or Bradley Beal comes across the table.

He’s too good not to get some recognition from opposing teams.
