11. Sacramento Kings

Years and years of rebuilding have gotten the Sacramento Kings nowhere as they still stand far outside of the Western Conference Playoff picture. Their chances of ever making the jump look slim as rising teams like the New Orleans Pelicans, Memphis Grizzlies and Phoenix Suns continue to leapfrog them.

This could be all it takes for them to grow desperate and make a push for the 2nd overall pick. While the Warriors would ideally target Buddy Hield, he can only be acquired via a bridge option that we will talk more about later. For now, let’s look at what the Warriors can get in a straight-up deal with the Kings.

The returning package is underwhelming. Nemanja Bjelica is a promising stretch big who averaged 11.5 points and 6.4 rebounds on above 40 percent shooting from the 3-point line but he isn’t worthy of giving up the No. 2 overall pick.

Even Jabari Parker doesn’t make this deal look any better as Parker has consistently proven his style of play is no longer fit for the modern NBA. The only redeeming quality of this deal is adding depth while also grabbing the 12th pick but the Warriors would be better sitting in their current position.
