10. San Antonio Spurs

It takes veteran experience to win a championship. Few teams are capable of winning it all without at least a few guys who have been battle-tested.

The Warriors have this in the likes of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green. Outside of them, there isn’t much playoff experience among the bunch. This is why going for a proven role player like Rudy Gay could be worthwhile.

Gay has never won a title but he has competed in 14 NBA seasons and three playoff series. He averaged 11.1 points on 42.1 percent shooting from the 3-point line last year as the Spurs pushed Denver to seven-games.

His ability to create his own shot and use his length on the defensive end would make Gay a valuable asset to the Warriors. This isn’t the best deal out there but it is one that could benefit them in their hopes of winning another title.
