3. Obi Toppin

For most prospects, it is their potential to one day become All-Stars that make them highly coveted in the NBA Draft. In Obi Toppin’s case, it is his already sound skillset and likelihood to be a reliable role player for years to come.

Toppin isn’t projected to make any major leaps in development. But that’s fine, as the 22-year old is already a great spot-up 3-point shooter and his brute athleticism makes him a flashy slasher. Toppin will score easily at the NBA level as he fits into most modern offenses perfectly.

The Warriors could use Toppin as a stretch-big. As a sophomore at Dayton, Toppin shot 39.0 percent from the 3-point line on over 80 total attempts. He would be the Warriors’ best 3-point shooting big and could potentially be their best all-around scorer in the frontcourt.

Toppin’s experience will make him an easy jump to the NBA – meaning he will likely look better than most other players in his class. This will help his value spike in trade negotiations as many teams are looking for a quality young player to add to their rosters.
