1. LaMelo Ball

I don’t think a single player in the NBA Draft has more mystique around him than LaMelo Ball. Some write him off because of his father’s antics while others dismiss him because of his brother’s failures – but LaMelo is on pace to be the greatest basketball talent in his family.

Ball has the same vision and playmaking of his older brother, Lonzo, except he is much taller at 6’8″. His extremely long limbs help him make passes that Lonzo could only dream of. Combine this with an incredibly shifty handle and unlimited creativity and Ball is a walking highlight reel.

He needs to do some work as a shooter. His ill-advised shot selection made him a sub 40 percent shooter from the field. Nonetheless, he has shown great touch around the rim and possesses an accurate floater that helps him score in the defense’s sweet spots.

There are many teams that could grow interested in Ball if he has a semi-successful stint in Golden State. A bit of development playing behind Stephen Curry could turn Ball into a prime trading block for whatever the Warriors have planned in the future.
