The Golden State Warriors have no free agents but may still use their mid-level exception, meaning they may need to cut a player or two before then.

There’s no denying some of the Warriors more expendable players should be feeling the heat. The organization has a mid-level exception and the No. 2 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft at their disposal this offseason.

Even if they keep the pick and use the exception, that’s two roster spots they need to make room for. While the team will have its two-way contracts to use, it seems unlikely that the current roster will stay as-is.

At least a few players may be moved to that two-way deal, much like Marquese Chriss was last season. From on the team to the two-way to back on the roster, Chriss’ 2019-2020 season was a roller coaster.

That’s how it could be for several players this coming season, especially those at the tail end of the Warriors roster. With the trade deadline moves last season, the Warriors brought in several potentially expendable players. They don’t need them to win or be Finals contenders.

That said, let’s dive into who the four players most likely to be cut are.
