Juan Toscano-Anderson
One of the many players not on a fully-guaranteed contract, Juan Toscano-Anderson has the potential to crack the rotation.
With recently-added Andrew Wiggins and not much else behind him, the one saving grace for Toscano-Anderson is that he’s not a shooting guard. At 6-foot-6 he should be able to guard bigger forwards.
The Warriors are laced with shooting guards and power forwards, but the three is not something they’re overly deep at. For Toscano-Anderson, he was with the Warriors for 13 games last season, starting six. He averaged 5.3 points per game on 46 percent shooting.
Also being able to shoot the three, Toscano-Anderson made 35 percent of his attempts from downtown. He could be a helpful role player, but if they spend their MLE on a wing or select a small forward, he could easily be the odd man out at the same time.
Toscano-Anderson is a good basketball player, but if the Warriors have the option to upgrade their backup three this offseason, they probably will do it.
