Mychal Mulder

Former Kentucky Wildcat Mychal Mulder is another player the team added after sending away Glenn Robinson III, Omari Spellman, Alec Burks, D’Angelo Russell, and a plethora of others players prior to the 2020 NBA Trade Deadline.

Mulder did sign a contract through the 2021-2022 season, and it’s not for very much, making him a great value. However, as with Lee, the young guard is fighting for limited minutes at the team’s deepest position.

In those seven games, he did manage last season, Mulder scored 11 points per game and pulled down 3.3 rebounds per game as well. Mulder’s a sharpshooter, averaging 2.3 triples per game on 31% from deep.

He has potential, especially being just 26. However, as it currently stands, if they need to cut positions to add a player on the MLE or one of several rookies they may draft, Mulder seems like the odd man out.

All four could be on the roster at the start of next season, one not expected to take place till early January at the soonest. But, it’s more than likely one of these four are cut prior to the league’s free agency period.
