5. Meyers Leonard

The Miami Heat haven’t used Meyers Leonard much in their playoff run but the big man has some value in today’s NBA. Leonard is one of the better shooting centers in the league and can fit right in with the Golden State Warriors’ gameplan.

Leonard averaged 6.1 points and 5.1 rebounds as a starter for most of the season. He offered solid spacing, shooting 41.4 percent on 128 total 3-point attempts. Had it not been for an ankle injury that halted his season, he may have had an impact on Miami’s path to the NBA Finals.

Nonetheless, Leonard is likely to have his season in Miami come to a bittersweet end. The 27-year-old will be a free agent this offseason and is on the Warriors’ wish list for the mid-level exception. Like many players on this list, Leonard would need to take a bit of a pay cut, but the joy of winning a title is always a good selling point for the Dubs.

Leonard would be the Warriors best 3-point shooter in the frontcourt and offer some much-needed size. At 7’1″, Leonard would be the tallest member of the roster.
