2. Aron Baynes

It’s unusual for role players to make a significant jump in production after they reach 30 years of age. For Aron Baynes, his 8th NBA season was his best. The 33-year-old former champion has hit his stride as a 3-point shooting big.

In his first seven years as a player, Baynes made just 25 total 3-pointers. This season, he drilled 59 on 35.1 percent shooting. His improvements as a shooter were shocking and he was one of the main factors in the Phoenix Suns’ early playoff push.

Baynes is an obvious fit for the Warriors, who desperately need a 3-point shooter in their frontcourt. His ability to offer spacing for the Dubs could become vital if Eric Paschall and Draymond Green fail to shoot consistently.

Baynes stands at 6’10” and weighs 260 pounds – about 40 pounds more than Kevon Looney. His size would undoubtedly have an impact. At the least, Baynes offers some depth to the Warriors rotation.
