Bradley Beal

One of the players in the NBA was left off the court during All-Star Weekend. Yes, I’m talking about Bradley Beal. Beal ranked second in points per game at 30.5.

His Wizards were one of the worst teams in the league which is likely why Beal was left off an All-Star team. His value just wasn’t understood by many as the Wizards struggled to keep up in the East.

They were without John Wall all season as well. Beal was a superstar on the team and cemented himself as one of the best scorers in the league. The Warriors need a do-it-all player, not necessarily a scorer.

To go along those lines, the team just dealt D’Angelo Russell, a point guard.

It’d be strange for them to bring in a superstar shooting guard for several high-value assets. They didn’t want to wait and see the trio of Thompson, Curry, and Russell, so why would they want another undersized, offensive-minded guard?

Beal is terrific, and he’s not just a scorer, averaging 6.1 assists per game, but he’s an unlikely addition given his skill set and lack of defensive dominance.
