The Golden State Warriors could get creative with their mid-level exception. Here are three potentially undervalued players to target.

The Golden State Warriors should be thankful that after a disastrous season – they have all of the tools needed to rebuild at lightning speed.

Let’s start with the obvious. Stephen Curry rejoining the team instantly puts them back into playoff contention. Toss in a healthy Klay Thompson, a revitalized Draymond Green and an inspired Andrew Wiggins to give this team a real chance at a title.

Before they can become favorites to win the championship, the Warriors need to round out the rest of this roster. They can accomplish this by utilizing each of their three major assets heading into the offseason.

In addition to the No. 2 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, the Warriors have a $17 millon dollar trade exception from trading Andre Iguodala and a $6 million dollar mid-level exception for free agency. We are going to focus on the MLE today and look at three players who might be under the radar this year. They might not be the Warriors’ first options but they deserve some consideration.
