Find the right prospect

The Golden State Warriors should have a plethora of prospects that intrigue them as we are now just two months away from the 2020 NBA Draft. They must narrow that down before determining the value of said pick.

That prospect could easily be Iowa State star guard Tyrese Haliburton. He shot over 40% from deep in both of his collegiate seasons. With his size and IQ, Haliburton would be a terrific fit. They also appear to love Deni Avdija, who has been playing his basketball over in Israel.

He’s a 6-foot-9 small forward that appears to have a high ceiling given his basketball IQ and ability to create. Both of those players should be available as should LaMelo Ball, James Wiseman, Obi Toppin and many other top-tier prospects.

The Warriors need to find who they want before they look into potentially trading the pick. Gauging their fit and the team’s priorities will be of utmost importance as the pick could determine the future of the franchise.
