Find the best deal on the market

It goes both ways though. Not only should the Warriors be looking into who they prefer as a prospect, but they should also look into who they may want to trade for.

The Warriors will have the draft capital to at least make a presentable trade deal for just about any franchise for any player. Even Giannis Antetokounmpo should be a player that’s on the table given the Warriors load of assets they could send in return for the two-time MVP.

Center Joel Embiid, guard Bradley Beal, and many others could be among the list of players that Golden State needs to look into. It’s about their value on the market against their value on the team.

If the Golden State Warriors believe Embiid would easily make them title favorites, then they should trade their best package for him. But, if they don’t, they need to select their favorite prospect — Step 1.

The first two steps of this process are about getting their priorities straight and figuring out their mission for this next season and just who they need on their team to make it happen. Step 3 is where it starts to get juicy.
