Golden State Warriors: A 5-step game plan for a perfect offseason
Make an elite starting lineup and figure out depth chart
The Golden State Warriors are going to enter the 2020-2021 season which may end up just being the 2021 season with an elite starting lineup.
Captained by point guard Stephen Curry and shooting guard Klay Thompson, a duo that combined for five games last season, the Warriors will, in all likelihood, also have Andrew Wiggins and Draymond Green featured as well.
The last starter, if things stay as they currently are, will be Marquese Chriss. However, after this offseason, that could be Ibaka or James Wiseman. There are numerous different ways the final step could unravel as it’s dependent on the first four.
Entering the season, the Warriors with Ky Bowman, Damion Lee, Jordan Poole, Kevon Looney, and Eric Paschall along with whoever they opt for that pick and mid-level exception.
This team will be elite, and then it’ll be on Steve Kerr to get it functioning at a high level.
