The Golden State Warriors should have an active offseason, signing, drafting and potentially trading players. Those moves may drop some in the depth chart.

With multiple avenues to improve, the Warriors 13-man roster may not look the same after this coming offseason.

For starters, there’s the mid-level exception at their disposal. This is valued at around $6 million and is something the Warriors should use. Now, they also have a $17.2 million trade exception sitting in their pocket as well.

It wouldn’t be overly shocking to see them pass on using this, especially if they decide to use their first-round pick. Their 2020 No. 2 overall pick and the Timberwolves top-three protected 2021 first-round pick are two other assets they’ll be able to use in trade talks as well.

All that to say, the Warriors will be able to return to championship contention this season, but how they plan to do that will be up to Bob Myers and his front office staff along with Joe Lacob and the ownership group.

That said, let’s dive into three Warriors that may lose their spot in the depth chart due to the organization’s offseason changes.
