It’d give them another option in the pick-and-roll

Dwight Howard’s most iconic moment is when he put on that Superman cape and dunked from the free-throw line. What does that show off for Howard? It shows off his athleticism, and that’s something he’s proven to still have this postseason.

What does that mean for Golden State? Well, Howard would come in and arguably be their most athletic big. While Looney would be more for offensive rebounding and energy, Howard could produce as a rim-rolling big man.

Almost 45 percent of his field-goal attempts were dunks this past season. He finished with 116 dunks in 69 games.

That’s what Howard does, and it’s something Golden State could use. Green, Looney, and really even Chriss can’t match Howard’s athletic ability around the rim, and year-after-year he’s proven he can dominate from close.

Stephen Curry, Ky Bowman and Green would love to throw that up to him off a pick-and-roll, and it would be a great secondary option for the offense.
