10. Golden State Warriors (Via Phoenix) – Devin Vassell, F
Two goals for the Golden State Warriors this offseason will be improving their perimeter defense and finding more capable shooters to play on the wing. Devin Vassell is the key to answering both of these needs.
Vassell is a lanky defender who made a killing on the help-side with Florida State. His explosiveness and length helped him close out on shooters as well as reject shots from behind at the rim. In a good system like the Warriors, Vassell would rack up steals by darting into the passing lanes.
Meanwhile, he would be equally effective on offense. Vassell is arguably the best pure shooter in the lottery, connecting on over 41 percent of his 106 total 3-point attempts. His well-rounded game makes him an obvious fit for the Warriors.
Of course, there is a good chance Vassell winds up being selected before the Dubs at the 10 spot. This is a risk they would have to take if they agree to trade with the Suns.
