11. San Antonio Spurs –  R.J. Hampton, G

For the first time in two decades, the San Antonio Spurs failed to reach the NBA Playoffs. This puts them back in the lottery and looking to land a quality asset for their rebuild.

The Spurs already have a strong point guard in Dejounte Murray. While he has suffered from injuries recently, the franchise is still counting on him to be their guard of the future. Can R.J. Hampton become his running mate?

One of Murray’s downsides is his lack of scoring. Hampton addresses this by being a smooth shot creator on his own. His handle is strong and he has great mechanics on his pull-up shooting. Though he didn’t score at a high-clip in his 15 games overseas, it’s tough to judge him over this small sample size.

Hampton has serious potential to be a pure scorer in this league. Going to a team with a solid player development history like San Antonio is a recipe for success.
