7. Milwaukee gets desperate

The Giannis Antetokounmpo rumors aren’t going away soon. Pressure will only continue to mount for the Milwaukee Bucks as we approach the 2021 offseason and Giannis’ impending free agency decision.

A painful loss to the Miami Heat this season has put the Bucks in a state of emergency. One more failed playoff run and Giannis could be on his way out. Without any cap space to adjust this roster, the Bucks might have to make a trade to keep their hopes of building a team around Giannis alive.

By getting off of Eric Bledsoe’s contract and taking on young talent in Jordan Poole, the Bucks give themselves some financial room for the future as well as an exciting shooting in Poole. Meanwhile, the 2nd pick in the draft could help them surround Giannis with a developing star to keep him invested in the franchise longterm.

As for the Warriors, they land a reliable two-way guard to play the sixth man role moving forward. They also land an opportunity to draft a player late in the first round with Milwaukee’s 24th pick.
