2. Suns look to make the leap

The Phoenix Suns came bitterly close to reaching the playoffs this year. They had a great start to the season and an even better finish in the bubble. The franchise has to feel they are only a few moves away from making the leap – and it’s important they do this before Devin Booker grows frustrated.

Without a doubt, Kelly Oubre Jr. is their best tradeable asset. Oubre had a breakout year with the Suns, averaging 18.7 points and 6.4 rebounds per game. He is a lethal shooter and finisher above the rim. Oubre fits everything the Warriors do on offense.

Oubre is versatile enough to play the four position alongside Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins and Draymond Green. Of course, he could also succeed as a sixth man.

But, the Warriors would have to cough up their No. 2 overall pick and potentially Eric Paschall for this to work. The Suns would need to get something worthwhile in return for their rising star. This package should be enough to get the job done – so long as a pick swap gives the Warriors the 10th pick in exchange.
