The Warriors may be able to get more in return

Bleacher Report’s Greg Swartz, when looking at a trade that may shock every fanbase, had one that sent Horford for Golden State for Wiggins. The Warriors also returned two top-tier second-round picks.

The Warriors could exchange a plethora of those picks for potentially a backup point guard or another position they would like to have depth at. In Swartz hypothetical trade, the Warriors bring in the No. 34 and No. 36 picks in the upcoming draft.

It seems like the Sixers are giving up quite a bit, but they almost have to in order to rid themselves of the Embiid-Horford experiment given Horford’s nine-figure deal. Here’s why Swartz says the Sixers would do the trade.

"“For Philly, getting off Horford’s deal would be a win as doing so would allow the team to move Tobias Harris to power forward and keep Simmons at point guard, where he’s thrived. Wiggins is nine years younger than Horford and could start at small forward for the Sixers, giving the roster better balance overall,” he wrote."

Al Horford would be a perfect fit, although a trade involving Wiggins and Horford would leave the team depleted at small forward.
