The Golden State Warriors need to improve their roster. Even with Curry and Thompson returning, here are seven low-cost trade targets for them to consider.

After a 15-win season, the Golden State Warriors should have an active offseason, and they have the pieces in place to make a blockbuster trade. But, they also may opt to just fill out their roster with added depth while keeping their high-value draft picks.

We know they plan to prioritize adding a backup point guard.

They’ll have a $17.2 million trade exception if they want to deal for said veteran or they could sign one with their mid-level exception, valued at around $6 million. It’s not just the point guard position that needs some help though.

The Warriors need help at small forward and center as Andrew Wiggins and Marquese Chriss are currently the starters at those positions. The team is loaded with potential at shooting guard and power forward.

Needing help at center and behind Stephen Curry and Andrew Wiggins, the Warriors are going to be a premier location not just for free but also for players on the trade market.

That said, let’s dive into seven players that may not be the most intriguing but would make a significant impact on the Warriors’ roster.
