4. Kelly Oubre Jr. (Trade)

There is a potential deal that has been talked about numerous times across sports media. This trade involves the Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors swapping picks, along with Kelly Oubre Jr. and potentially more assets, to satisfy both sides.

From the Warriors perspective, Oubre fits everything they like to do on offense. He is a lanky wing who can play multiple positions and spread the floor. His athleticism offers the freedom to run in transition and create plays above the rim. He is the definition of a pace-and-space forward.

Meanwhile, the Suns nab the No. 2 overall pick and potentially a young star like Eric Paschall (depending on how much the Warriors are willing to offer). In doing so, the Warriors would acquire the No. 10 pick and a chance to draft a player such as Devin Vassell, who we have already talked about.

Now, there is some concern that trading for Oubre is a risk as he becomes an unrestricted free agent next season. This means the Dubs would have to work at confirming Oubre’s intentions to remain with the team before committing to a deal. Or, perhaps they feel so confident in his abilities that the Dubs take a chance on a one-year rental to push for a title immediately.
