Dwight Howard

Coming off a title with the Los Angeles Lakers, Dwight Howard should consider the Warriors when looking at where he’ll head this offseason. The Warriors could use the rim-attacking big man who showed promise with the Lakers.

Los Angeles had several lengthy, athletic players in their frontcourt, typically not how a top-tier team in this shooting-heavy generation operates. It worked for them, and it brought Howard back to relevance.

While the 7.5 points per game were a career-low for the big man, he did shoot 73 percent from the field, the highest of his career. He also averaged 7.3 rebounds per game, the third-most of his career per 36 minutes (Howard averaged 18.9 minutes per game).

He’s stopped being superstar Howard and now is elite role player Howard. For Golden State, having that big-time rebounder and defender could prove pivotal, and for his price, Howard would be a bargain addition.
