Jae Crowder

Coming off an NBA Finals appearance with the Heat, Jae Crowder will be looking for a solid contract this offseason.

While Crowder is a solid 3-and-D player, he likely won’t be given a massive eight-figure deal. That’s why he should consider signing in Golden State for the mid-level exception.

The Warriors could use the shooting and defensive he brings to the table. His best full season was in Boston several years ago. While it looked like he was on the decline, when traded to Miami, everything turned upward for Crowder.

He went in and averaged 2.9 threes per game on over 44 percent from deep for the last 20 games of the season. It was only a quarter of a season, but he did average a career-high 48.2 percent from the field.

With Wiggins on the roster, getting a player like Crowder isn’t the most imperative move, but he would be a nice addition for this roster.
