The Golden State Warriors will look to add depth with their two open roster spots this offseason, and they need to prioritize some positions over others.

The 2019-2020 season didn’t go quite as planned for the Warriors.

They won just 15 games and had some midseason drama with the trading of point guard D’Angelo Russell. It was one of their seasons in franchise history as the losses just kept racking up as Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry combined for just five games.

There were some silver linings to an otherwise forgettable season. One of those was that the Dubs were able to find several low-profile, up-and-coming players to help lead the organization’s second unit.

Mychal Mulder, Dragan Bender and others that weren’t given much of a chance found at least an opportunity in Golden State. Several of them will stay on the roster as the Warriors will be entering the 2020 offseason will little wiggle room in their cap.

They’ll need more than just those players though. With several positions absolutely loaded and other begging for more help, the Warriors have some planning to do in order to make sure they have ample depth across the board.

That said, let’s dive into the three positions they’ll need a few more players at.
