Small Forward

The Golden State Warriors have two small forwards on their roster.

Andrew Wiggins, who they traded for, sending a plethora of assets to Minnesota, will be their starter. He’s expected to fill a Harrison Barnes-like role. Wiggins, a former No. 1 overall pick, always had superstar aspirations.

That’s just what he’s developed into, and in Golden State, for the first time in his career, that will be okay. They need him to be a 3-and-D stud, something he should be able to do with relative ease. Alongside Wiggins, the team has midseason addition, Juan Toscano-Anderson.

They’ll be the starter and backup, but the team could use upgrading both. Two-time MVP Giannis Antetoukounmpo is the preferred upgrade obvious, but even Gordon would do wonders for this team.

Nonetheless, having two small forwards, both of which could be either dealt or released at any time, may not be the ideal roster composition, making the three a position the team needs to build on this offseason.
