The Golden State Warriors should use this time in the offseason to find an ideal trade target, and one player getting much attention is forward Kevin Love.

There’s no denying this is going to be a very telling offseason for the Golden State Warriors. The team’s Big 3 is still elite, and they’re all still in their prime.

But, the Warriors may need more this time around to be among the favorites in the Western Conference. The Larry O’Brien trophy is back in the conference, just not with the Warriors. The Lakers are not the primary threat, and they’ll be looking to repeat.

With the mid-level exception, No. 2 overall pick, a high-value 2021 pick, and a trade exception among other assets at their disposal, the Warriors will have enough to bring in a top-tier star. The question is what star do they try to trade for and at what cost is too much.

Players like Joel Embiid, Bradley Beal, and Myles Turner are potential trade candidates. While the ultimate prize is Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Bucks don’t appear to be looking to trade the two-time MVP.

That said, let’s dive into why the Cavaliers’ Kevin Love is an immensely underrated target for Golden State.
