3 reasons Kevin Love is the most underrated Warriors trade target
His fit with the small-ball lineup
The shooting, the cost, and now the fit are the three reasons the Warriors should target Love. The fit comes back to him being a terrific shooter. While that may be the most trait he has, it’s far from the only one.
Love is one of the best rebounding big men as well. While he’s far from an elite rim protector, Love has led the league in rebounds and has averaged double-digit rebounds in seven of his 12 seasons in the league.
Coming Love’s rebounding and Green’s presence in the frontcourt, and the Warriors should be at least a competent team on the boards. They’ll still struggle defensively, but the Warriors would have two top-tier defenders in Klay Thompson and Draymond Green.
Love isn’t the best player Golden State could bring in with their available assets, but for his cost, he’d be among the best fits for this roster.
