Sending away Wiggins
A similar trade to the one listed before, here is another deal that could be on the table. Wiggins is a developed star and a former No. 1 overall pick, and the Suns have the cap space to bring him in if they view him as a long-term running partner for Devin Booker.
Along with the second-round picks, the Suns would have a star that could score alongside Booker. Wiggins is a more proven scorer than Oubre Jr., despite the younger of the two have a brighter future.
The Warriors brought in Wiggins for D’Angelo Russell.
They seem to be big fans of Wiggins as he’ll be expected to fill that Harrison Barnes-like role. However, having scored over 20 points per game in three of his six seasons in the NBA, Wiggins has proven to a high-volume scorer. He’s managed over 15 points in all six seasons.
His shooting is improving, and while his contract is still among the worst in the NBA, the Suns have enough young talent to be able to work around that. Add Wiggins and the second-round picks to the Suns’ roster, and you’ll have an ultra-young roster with solid upside.
