Trading back and adding Oubre

This seems like the best trade for both sides. Yes, the Warriors have a need for top-tier talent at No. 2, but they could also use a player at No. 10.

They’ve shown an interest in numerous players from James Wiseman to Obi Toppin to Anthony Edwards to Tyrese Haliburton. The list continues far enough to likely get them a player they’ve looked at with the tenth overall pick.

For Phoenix, they need a long-term star alongside Booker, who is playing under a massive contract for the next few seasons. LaMelo Ball or Anthony Edwards could be the perfect fit for their roster, and they’re guaranteed one of the two at No. 2.

This deal really comes down to the financial impact it’d have on Golden State. Would the Warriors want to pay Oubre’s salary that’s over $14 million with the Covid-19 impact already crushing league revenue?

If they would be okay with it financially, this trade would be the perfect deal for both sides.
