9. Rudy Gay

The Golden State Warriors should have two goals if they decide to trade their pick. First, they need to address a position of weakness – that being the wing and center positions. Secondly, the Dubs must look to add veteran talent. Trading for Rudy Gay checks both of those boxes.

Gay has been one of the most consistent scorers in the league for years now. He is versatile on offense, capable of scoring in a multitude of ways. He has always been a skilled slasher but has improved his shooting as he grows older.

As a bench player for the San Antonio Spurs, Gay averaged 10.8 points on 44.6 percent shooting. This is his lowest scoring mark since 2006 (his rookie season) but showcases his willingness to play within a team system.

Gay will fit right in with the Warriors’ second unit and can provide some much-needed experience to this roster.
