3. Kelly Oubre Jr.

One reason the Golden State Warriors are reluctant to trade their pick is the fear of abandoning their future. However, they can maintain a sense of youth by swapping the pick for 24-year-old Kelly Oubre Jr.

Oubre had the best year of his career last season with the Phoneix Suns – averaging highs in points (18.7) and rebounds (6.4). He drilled 35.2 percent of his 3-point attempts and converted over 45 percent of his overall shots.

His shooting and athleticism make him a versatile weapon on offense. Though he is a bit undersized, Oubre is capable of playing the stretch-four and spacing the floor in the modern NBA. He isn’t the best defender – but he isn’t a detriment either due to his toughness.

Oubre will fit right in with the Dubs young core and be a positive presence on the bench. He might even be a good addition to the death lineup if the Warriors choose to go small in closing moments.
