3. James Wiseman – Draft

In a draft where elite centers appear to be scarce, James Wiseman stands above the competition as the big man with the highest ceiling.

Wiseman is a monstrous seven-footer that can jump out of the gym. He blocked nine shots in just three collegiate games and will almost definitely have an instant impact on whatever team he is drafted to.

His size and reach not only make him an electric shot blocker but also help him finish around the rim. Wiseman is going to dominate the paint on both ends of the floor and clean up the glass at a high-rate.

The biggest downsides to Wiseman’s game is his lack of a jump shot and concern surrounding his ability to read the floor. Wiseman doesn’t always make the best decisions – but it’s tough to judge him off such a small sample size in college.

Nonetheless, Wiseman will be surrounded by high-IQ talent in Golden State to help develop him into a star.
