1. Anthony Edwards – Draft

Anthony Edwards has slowly been emerging as the consensus No. 1 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. At least, he’s separating himself as the most promising prospect in a class where no one truly knows who will be selected first overall.

Reports state that Edwards has been killing it in workouts and showcasing what makes him such an exciting prospect in the first place. His size at the guard position – combined with bursts of athleticism and creativity around the rim – gives Edwards the potential to be a big-time scorer early in his career.

Still, what makes Edwards most intriguing is his upside on defense. Though he needs to prove he can become engaged on this side of the ball, Edwards is the perfect build to be a two-way threat. This is something the Warriors would have to help bring out of Edwards, and who better to do that than Draymond Green?

Edwards can fill in the role of Andre Iguodala for the Dubs moving forward. His long arms, muscular frame and athleticism give Edwards everything he needs to be a star for years to come. If he isn’t the first pick, he should definitely be the second.
