The overload offer

Pelicans receive: SF Andrew Wiggins, SG Jordan Poole, 2020 No. 2 overall pick

Warriors receive: Jrue Holiday

The Golden State Warriors have the assets it takes to make a reasonable deal for two-time reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo. They, of course, could make a trade that the Pelicans would accept on the spot.

While this deal doesn’t have that highly coveted 2021 Timberwolves pick, it does have the second-overall pick in the coming draft, a position the Pelicans should be able to take Lonzo Ball’s brother, LaMelo, with.

There are a plethora of high-ceiling players they could snag with the pick, but adding Wiggins scoring, a high-upside second-year guard in Poole and one of the top picks in the draft, the Pelicans wouldn’t have to think twice about this.

Poole may not even be necessary as the pick may do the trick. It’s more than other teams will more than likely give. That pick along with Wiggins, who analysts don’t give enough credit it, is more than what it should take to bring in Wiggins.

This still isn’t the best deal for both sides though.
