The Golden State Warriors have the No. 2 pick in the upcoming NBA Draft, and whoever they choose could cut into the time of an already-established player.

Heading into the draft, the Golden State Warriors have three picks and 13 rostered players. That is a perfect amount of spots for the team two sign two two-way players along with using their mid-level exception.

Bringing in all that talent, mainly whoever they add with the MLE and their second-overall pick, will hurt some players that have spent years in Golden State.

The main prospects that the Warriors are likely going to consider are Anthony Edwards, James Wiseman and Deni Avdija. All three make sense, but it’s doubtful Edwards will be available as he is expected to go No. 1 overall.

A top-three prospect added to a championship-contending team may not immediately play over two quarters per game, but they are going to get some time. Any of those three or any other prospect would get time with the Warriors.

It’ll really boil down to just a handful of positions that Golden State would choose to take. That said, let’s dive into who may get hit the most if the No. 2 overall pick is drafted at their position.
