3. Isaac Okoro

With Andre Iguodala gone, the Golden State Warriors will be missing an elite defensive presence on the perimeter. Can Isaac Okoro be a replacement?

Pros

Continuing with the Iggy comparisons, Okoro is a wide-shouldered forward with high-level athleticism and a bulldog mentality. He was a member of the All-SEC Defensive Team and will translate quickly into the NBA level as a perimeter defender.

Okoro is going to be a great on-ball and team defender with the Warriors and can score in transition as a slasher. He has also shown potential as a playmaker and would benefit from being under a team-oriented system such as the Warriors.

Cons

Problems begin to emerge in Okoro’s game when dissecting his offensive skillset. He isn’t an efficient shooter, only knocking down 28.6 percent of his 3-point attempts. This will be a crucial factor in determining how great Okoro can be in the NBA.

Of course, Iguodala wasn’t an elite 3-point shoot either. However, he could be trusted to drill big-time shots when the team needed him most. Can Okoro do the same?
