5. Alec Burks

Alec Burks spent some time with the Golden State Warriors last season before being shipped to Philly at the deadline. If both sides are interested, a reunion could be in play.

Pros

We saw how effective Burks can be with the ball in his hands last year. Burks was averaging a career-high 16.1 points with the Warriors. He is a skilled shot creator who can provide a spark in scoring off the bench.

Burks is capable of carrying a scoring load and taking attention off the Warriors’ stars when needed. His versatility and efficiency make him a reliable sixth man.

Cons

It’s unclear if Burks would be open to rejoining the Warriors after being traded midseason. While Glenn Robinson III has expressed interest in coming back – Burks has not.

Furthermore, he hasn’t yet shown he can use his length to become an impactful defender. His defensive ratings have been underwhelming for the entirety of his career and that might not change in a second stint with Golden State.
