The Golden State Warriors have the second pick in the draft upcoming up on November 18th. However, many people are still unsure of what they will do with it.

The Golden State Warriors are likely listening to all offers, but there are some that may be more intriguing than others. A possible trade in the draft could help the Warriors get back to a dynasty form like where they were just two years ago.

Last year Golden State suffered their worst season of all time, winning just 15 games and losing 50. Warriors fans are not used to a season like the last, but it could have been a blessing in disguise.

As Klay Thompson was already out with a torn ACL, it was unlikely the Warriors would win a championship even with a healthy Steph Curry.

Their terrible season helped them gain a great pick in the draft. The Warriors could do a couple of things on draft night with their pick.

They could keep it and draft a young player who can potentially blossom into a star. Golden State could also trade during or before the draft. They have a couple of assets that could be intriguing to other teams.

There has been a lot of buzz around them possibly trading down in the draft, and acquiring talent that can help them compete right now. The Hawks could make a competent trade partner for the Dubs.

Atlanta didn’t have the best season either, but they do have several promising pieces. Trae Young was a player they drafted just two years ago and emerged as a star point guard in just his second season.

They also drafted both Cameron Reddish and De’Andre Hunter, who both played in valuable roles with the team. Another asset they have is sharpshooter Kevin Huerter, who was drafted in 2018 at 19.

In this trade suggestion, the Warriors would receive the Hawks No. 6 pick in the upcoming draft, as well as Kevin Huerter. Here is a trade both teams should look into.

Warriors receive: Kevin Huerter, No. 6 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft

Hawks receive: No. 2 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft
