5. Kelly Olynyk

Kelly Olynyk has now notched some NBA Finals experience under his belt and could be a nice pickup for the Golden State Warriors.

Pros

Olynyk was ahead of the curve in being a small-ball big. He has been shooting 3-pointers most of his career and clipped a career-high 113 total 3-pointers a year ago. He helped widen the floor for Miami by shooting above 40 percent from deep and being a consistent pick-and-pop threat.

He also has seven years of NBA experience and multiple runs in the playoffs that could help him fit right in with the current Warriors core.

Cons

Most of his contributions come on the offensive end. Defensively, Onlynyk won’t have much of an impact. He isn’t a quick-twitch athlete and doesn’t possess much leaping ability.

However, he has proven to be a quality team defender. If put in the right position, Olynyk will be able to hold his own on this side of the floor. Though, he won’t do much more than that.
