The Golden State Warriors may look to trade their 2020 No. 2 overall pick. If they do, they’ll have potential trade targets on just about every other NBA team.

This past season, by trading D’Angelo Russell and bringing in Andrew Wiggins, the Golden State Warriors recreated their 2014-2015 championship roster.

But, this time around, they’ll need more than just the Big 3 and a Harrison Barnes-type player in Wiggins. Thankfully, they also have the assets to make a trade for another star after Kevin Durant opted to head to Brooklyn last offseason.

They also traded most of their experienced personnel for up-and-coming stars. While Jordan Poole and Eric Paschall have both shown potential to be high-level players, they’ll slot in as key role players this season.

The Warriors had 15 wins this past season. They must be better, and with Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson back, they will be. But, can they be as good as the Los Angeles Lakers, a team looking to defend their recent championship next season?

I think they’ll need one more top-tier player to be at or ahead of the reigning champs. That said, let’s dive into one player off every other NBA team the Golden State Warriors could trade for.
