Indiana Pacers — Myles Turner

The Warriors have one player that is 6-foot-10 and no one above that.

They need the length, and they could use the rim protection that the Pacers’ Myles Turner could give. Turner, after a down season, could be on the hot seat in Indianapolis. Per the trend, Turner had a down year this past season as Victor Oladipo missed much of the year.

Turner was down from 13.3 points per game to 12.1. He also went from a league-high 2.7 blocked shots per game to 2.1. His numbers across the board declined yet his minutes per game went up.

Turner just wasn’t as effective, and with a plethora of talented playmakers, he should be able to thrive with Curry and Thompson. Turner, who stands 6-foot-11, would create a dominant lineup with Green, Thompson, Curry, and Wiggins.

Barely missing the trade exception, the team may actually have to include Wiggins in any deal. Wiggins and the No. 2 would likely be enough to bring in one of the league’s premier shot blockers, but it feels doubtful Turner is the player Golden State would want to give the pick up for.
